2005 Honda VTX 1800 Neo (sold)

I’ve sold my 2005 Neo Spec III but it’s still nice to see the photos of the changes I made. Here’s a list of the updates since it was new:

Wheels/tires/brakes:

wheels powdercoated black, red trim stripes applied
fairly new Avon Venom tires front and rear (about 2k miles since new)
all three brake rotors polished

Lighting:

Headwinds chrome billet turn signals front and rear, with amber lenses (red lenses included)
Headwinds chrome billet driving lights mounted on engine bars

Add-ons:

Thunder Hurricane intake
Cobra Fatty 1 1/2 inch engine bars
Black Flanders handlebars
throttle shell milled to use HD grips
Cobra chrome billet license plate holder
Retro handlebar clamp with “VTX” filled with red paint
stash tube for registration/insurance card
Madco oil temp dipstick
Battery Tender pigtail

Custom paint/parts:

rear diff painted gloss black
trim ring painted black
Retro handlebar clamp with “VTX” filled with red paint
grooves in Hurricane intake filled with red paint
rear caliper mount chromed and grooves filled with red paint
headlight shell painted black
front forks painted black
stainless quick-detach seat anchors
driver and passenger seat recovered in leather, gel insert in driver’s seat by Chilhowee Leather
custom adapters to mount turn signals, turned from aluminum, polished, and chromed
chromed billet aluminum peg on kickstand – easier to reach with boots on

Other stuff:

Pair system removed, block off plates installed (original parts available)
quick-detach couplers on both fuel lines for quick (and clean) tank removal

  1. Dale, your bike looks great, nice job. I see that your using the Boss Saddle Bags, do those bags fit the bike with the stock exhaust? If they do, can you tell me which Boss Bag you are using? I would really appriciate it. I am still trying to find a saddle bag that looks good on the bike, and those bags look great on yours.
