Indiana-Kentucky

This was the first trip to the Valley View Ferry over the Kentucky River at Tates Creek. Scenes of rural America like this are becoming more and more difficult to find. Unfortunately, I’m sure that this ferry will fall to the budget axe and a bridge will be built – but I hope not.  Faster and easier is not necessarily better.

The roads in Kentucky are great and the people are friendly. There are some gems – KY-33 is one of them. The twists and turns are great and the countryside is beautiful. You have to pay attention to the road lest you join the shrubbery – but that’s just part of the fun.

Enjoy the pictures.
