Weather

These pictures were taken about 5:30pm on Thursday, August 23rd, 2007. Northern Illinois was hit hard with severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and destructive winds. I went out about 7:30pm and the Fox River was not yet out of it’s banks at the Sheridan bridge, but it was very close. My weather station showed maximum winds of 61 mph and more than 3 inches of rain in about 90 minutes.
